Death Goes Global: Trepan Added to World of Death

For approximately two years Cadaver Hour Films has had T is for TREPAN, originally created as an official submission to the ABC's of Death 26th Director Contest, posted up on YouTube. In those two short years it has accumulated over 120,000, that's right 120,000, individual views. The team here is extremely proud to be able to say that.

We are very happy to say that this isn't the only notoriety that T is for TREPAN has gotten in the past few weeks…
From the Press Release:
DEATH HAS NO BORDERS

TREPAN WILL BE FEATURED IN WORLD OF DEATH ALONG WITH OVER 200 OTHER SHORT FILMS AROUND THE WORLD ACROSS 25 DIFFERENT COUNTRIES.

For six years Cadaver Hour Films has been happily providing its audience with gruesome entertainment through its delightfully terrorizing short films. Taking steps in a positive direction as both film makers and artists Raymond Morse and Christopher Wendland started with Day 53 and have evolved into what is now known as Trepan.

A twisted take on an unsuspecting woman who is stalked, kidnapped and tortured by a family of maniacs, Trepan has been selected to appear in World of Death. Partnering with Scotchworthy films' Tony Wash and JP3 Media, Cadaver Hour Films will help to shock genuine terror into the horror community with the release of World of Death. Premiering on DVD, Blu-Ray and Digital Download later this year, this collection of short-films will be made available to all fans of independent horror, no matter how they prefer to watch.

World of Death brings together the talent of over 200 filmmakers from 25 different countries in a compilation of short horror films that will terrorize, astonish, disturb, and excite genre fans internationally. The collection includes independent talent of every age and level of experience from across the globe! We sat with the directors of Trepan to get their take on this unique opportunity.

"World of Death is invaluable to our form of entertainment and has given many people a chance to tell their stories. Tony Wash, the participating film makers and the rest of the crew truly embody what it means to be independent." – Christopher Wendland

"Although Trepan is but a small mechanical piece in the much larger collaborative machine, it is humbling to be part of a movement that has the potential to change independent film making as we know it." – Raymond Morse

They also summed up the World of Death release for us: This will be bloody. This will be frightening. This will be fantastic.
